Terms and Conditions
1. Payment Terms
  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 80% of the labor and material costs is required to confirm the order.

  • Remaining Balance: The remaining 20% must be paid in full before pickup or delivery, or in some cases, at the time of collection.

  • Non-Payment: The product will not be released until full payment has been received. I reserve the right to charge additional fees or take legal action in cases of non-payment.

2. Cancellation and Modification Policy
  • Cancellation by the Customer:

    • The deposit is non-refundable.

    • If additional work has been completed, extra charges will apply for labor and materials used.

    • The dress will remain my property until full payment has been made. Once payment is received, the dress will be completed and available for pickup.

  • Cancellation by the Service Provider:

    • In the rare event that I must cancel the order, the full deposit will be refunded.

    • If the customer provided their own fabric, proof of purchase (receipt) must be presented to receive reimbursement for the fabric cost.

    • Any dress or garment in progress remains my property.

  • Disrespectful Behavior:

    • Disrespectful or offensive communication will not be tolerated. I reserve the right to terminate the collaboration in cases of extreme or repeated disrespect.

  • Design Modifications:

    • Any modifications requested after design approval may result in additional costs and/or extended delivery times.

    • Changes to white dresses with samples will be charged after the second fitting.

    • Modifications to traditional dresses after the fitting may be declined or, if feasible, charged additionally.

    • Changes that are not reasonably achievable within the agreed deadline may be refused.

3. Delivery Deadlines and Delays
  • Delivery Date: I will adhere to the agreed delivery date as closely as possible.

  • Delays Beyond My Control: I am not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Delays Caused by the Customer: If the customer fails to respond promptly or misses fittings, delivery dates may be postponed. I am not liable for any inconvenience or damages resulting from such delays.

4. Fittings and Adjustments
  • Included Fittings: Two fittings are included in the price for traditional dresses.

    • First Fitting: Major adjustments are made.

    • Second Fitting: Final adjustments such as crystal application are made.

      • Changes to the dress base at this stage may be refused or charged additionally.

  • Extra Adjustments: Additional requests after the second fitting may incur extra costs depending on labor time and schedule feasibility.

  • No-Show Policy: Missed fittings without prior notice will count as a completed fitting.

5. Liability and Quality
  • Quality Assurance: All garments are handmade and delivered according to the approved design. Minor variations may occur due to the artisanal nature of the work.

  • Change of Preference: No refunds will be issued if the customer later changes their mind about the design or style.

  • Customer-Supplied Materials: I am not responsible for issues arising from materials supplied by the customer (e.g., poor quality, incorrect colors).

6. Communication
  • Timely Communication: Customers must respond within a reasonable timeframe to messages or appointment requests. Delays in response may affect timelines and incur additional costs.

  • Respectful Conduct: Repeated disrespectful or inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of the collaboration.

7. Delivery and Ownership
  • Ownership: All products remain my property until full payment is received.

  • Pickup: Orders must be collected within 7 days of completion, unless otherwise agreed upon.

8. Appointments and Guests
  • Number of Attendees: Customers may bring a maximum of 2 to 3 guests to fittings to maintain a calm and efficient environment.

  • Children: Children under 10 years old are not recommended to attend fittings as they can disrupt the process.

9. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution first. If an agreement cannot be reached, the matter will be handled in accordance with Belgian law.
